  • Description
      This medicine prevents from clogging pores by inhibiting differentiation of epidermal keratinocytes, and then it suppresses formation of comedones. Thereby, it is effective in reducing non-inflammatory lesions [closed comedones (whiteheads), open comedones (blackheads)] and further inflammatory lesions (papules).
      It is usually used for the treatment of acne vulgaris.

  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine prevents from clogging pores by inhibiting differentiation of epidermal keratinocytes, and then it suppresses formation of comedones. Thereby, it is effective in reducing non-inflammatory lesions [closed comedones (whiteheads), open comedones (blackheads)] and further inflammatory lesions (papules).
      It is usually used for the treatment of acne vulgaris.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, apply an appropriate amount of the medicine to the affected area after washing your face once a day before bedtime. Strictly follow the instructions.
      Use only on your face.
      Do not apply it to affected skin areas accompanied with cuts, scratches and eczema.
      Do not apply it to eyes, lips and nostrils. If it gets into your eyes, wash it away with water immediately.
      If you miss a dose, apply it before bedtime of the next day. You should not apply two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
      If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

      Avoid excessive UV exposure, such as sunlight or tanning lamps.
      Inform your doctor if you become pregnant or if you think you may be pregnant.

      Keep out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature (1 to 30 degrees Celsius) away from direct sunlight and moisture.
      Do not freeze it.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them. If you do not know how to discard, seek advice of your pharmacy or medical institution. Do not give the unused medicines to others.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include dry skin, discomfort feeling of skin, skin exfoliation, erythema and itch. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
