Usage/Dosage

In general, apply an appropriate amount of ointment to the affected area, once to several times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease and symptoms of the patient. Strictly follow the instructions.
Do not apply this medicine to your eyes. If this medicine accidentally gets into your eyes, wash the affected area gently with water. If you still feel discomfort, consult an ophthalmologist.
Using the medicine in large amounts, for a long time, or under occlusive dressings (ODT) increases the risk of side effects. Diapers can have a similar occlusive effect, so use extra caution.
If you miss a dose, apply a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should not apply two doses at one time.
If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

The following patients may need to be careful when using this medicine.
Be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist.
If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you have eczematous external otitis, ulcer, burn/frostbite or skin infection with bacteria/fungi/viruses.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
The oily components used in this medicine may deteriorate or break contraceptive latex products such as condoms. Do not let this medicine make contact with such products.
Storage conditions and other information
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include erythema, rash, hives, itching, burning sensation in the skin, contact dermatitis. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
Severe eye pain, headache, sudden vision loss [Glaucoma]
Sensitivity to light, blurred vision, decreased vision [Posterior cataract]
Sensitivity to light, blurred vision, dry eyes, eye pain [Increased intraocular pressure]
