This medicine acts directly on vascular smooth muscles and expands peripheral vessels and also suppresses platelet aggregation to improve blood flow, leading to relief of symptoms such as numbness and pain of limbs, as well as coldness.
It is usually used to improve various ischemic symptoms such as ulcer/pain and coldness associated with thromboangiitis obliterans, subjective symptoms (pain and numbness of lower limbs) associated with acquired lumbar spinal stenosis (patients with normal straight leg raise-Test and bilateral intermittent claudication), and walking ability.

Usage/Dosage

For thromboangiitis obliterans: In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (10 mcg of limaprost) at a time, 3 times a day.
For acquired lumbar spinal stenosis: In general, take 1 tablet (5 mcg of limaprost) at a time, 3 times a day.
In any case, strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Storage conditions and other information
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
This medicine has high hygroscopic properties. Take the tablets out of the sheet immediately before you take them.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, itch, hives, photosensitivity, bleeding, diarrhea, nausea, stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, heartburn, palpitation, headache, dizziness, flush and hot flush.
If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets.
If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
- general malaise, loss of appetite, yellow discoloration of the skin and the white of the eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]
