Description

With the derivative of vitamin B1, it is a medicine that has to be easily utilized by the body than natural vitamin B1.
It works to improve the neurological dysfunction and the metabolism of the heart muscle, and to enhance the movement of bowel.
Generally, it is used in the prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency, for the replenishment when the intake from the diet is insufficient, and for the treatment of Wernicke encephalopathy and heart failure from beriberi.

Effect/Efficacy

This medicine is a vitamin B1 derivative which is more readily utilized in the body than natural vitamin B1 and acts to improve impaired nerve function and heart muscle metabolism and to enhance intestinal motility.
It is usually used to prevent and treat vitamin B1 deficiency as a supplement to inadequate dietary intake of this vitamin and to treat Wernicke's encephalopathy and heart failure from beriberi.

Usage/Dosage

Generally, for adults it is used 1 - 4 tablets (25〜100mg as a main component) a day by dividing into 1 - 3 times immediately after the meal. It is however adjusted by age, disease or condition to be treated. Strictly follow the operating instructions.

Cautions

Common side effects are reported as below. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist in any case: rash, nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, stomach discomfort, diarrhea and stomatitis.
If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, nausea, heartburn, gastric pain, gastric distress, diarrhea and stomatitis. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
