      This medicine replaces female hormone transdermally to improve vasomotor symptoms such as hot flush, hot flash and abnormal sweating due to decreased female hormones. It suppresses bone resorption, improves bone density, and is also used for infertility treatment
      It is usually used to treat vasomotor symptoms (hot flush/sweating) and urogenital atrophy symptoms associated with climacteric disorder or ovarian deficiency symptoms, and postmenopausal osteoporosis, and for hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, gonadectomy or primary ovarian insufficiency, and is also used for adjustment of start time of regulatory ovarian stimulation in assisted reproductive technology, and hormone replacement cycle in freeze-thaw embryo transfer.

  • Usage/Dosage
      For vasomotor symptoms (hot flush/sweating) and urogenital atrophy symptoms associated with climacteric disorder or ovarian deficiency symptom: In general, for adults, apply 0.72 mg of the active ingredient to the lower abdomen or the buttocks, and replace the old patch with a new patch every 2 days.
      For postmenopausal osteoporosis: In general, for adults, apply 0.72 mg of the active ingredient to the lower abdomen or the buttocks and replace the old patch with a new patch every 2 days.
      For hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, gonadectomy or primary ovarian insufficiency: In general, for adults, start by applying 0.72 mg of the active ingredient to the lower abdomen or the buttocks. The dosage may be adjusted according to the symptoms. The old patch should be replaced with a new patch every 2 days. For children, start by applying 0.09 mg of the active ingredient to the lower abdomen or the buttocks. The dosage will be increased step by step, to 0.18 mg, 0.36 mg, then 0.72 mg. The old patch should be replaced with a new patch every 2 days.
      For adjustment of start time of regulatory ovarian stimulation in assisted reproductive technology: In general, apply 0.72 mg of the active ingredient to the lower abdomen or the buttocks, and replace the old patch with a new patch every 2 days for 21 to 28 days.
      For hormone replacement cycle in freeze-thaw embryo transfer: In general, apply 0.72 to 5.76 mg of the active ingredient to the lower abdomen or the buttocks, and replace the old patch with a new patch every 2 days for up to 8 weeks of gestation.
      This medicine contains 0.72 mg of the active ingredient in a patch. In any case, strictly follow the instructions.
      Do not apply this medicine to areas with wound, eczema or dermatitis, or to the chest.
      Avoid applying this medicine on the waistline because the patch may fall off due to friction with clothes.
      If you miss a dose, use the missed dose as soon as possible. You should never use two doses at one time. Follow your regular dosing schedule from the next dose.
      If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
      If you have or are suspected of having estrogen-dependent tumors (breast cancer, endometrium cancer, etc.).
      If you have a history of breast cancer.
      If you have untreated endometrial hyperplasia, liver disorder or undiagnosed abnormal genital bleeding.
      If you have or have a history of thrombophlebitis/pulmonary embolism or arterial thromboembolic disease (coronary heart disease, stroke, etc.).
      If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include breast tension, breast pain, atypical bleeding, withdrawal bleeding, vaginal discharge and erythema/itch of the applied area. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

      respiratory distress, hives, general malaise[anaphylaxis]
      leg pain/edema, chest pain, shortness of breath[venous thromboembolism, thrombophlebitis]
