By cyclooxygenase (COX-1) inhibition, this drug blocks the synthesis of thromboxane A2 to inhibit platelet aggregation, which consequently prevents blood clotting and vessel clogging.Usually, this drug is used to treat Kawasaki disease and its cardiovascular sequelae.

By cyclooxygenase (COX-1) inhibition, this drug blocks the synthesis of thromboxane A2 to inhibit platelet aggregation, which consequently prevents blood clotting and vessel clogging.
Usually, this drug is used to prevent thrombus/embolus formation in angina, myocardial infarction, and cerebral infarction.

Usage/Dosage

Generally, adult patients take one tablet once daily (100 mg as major ingredient). Dosage may be increased depending on the disease or the symptom to be treated. Always follow the dosage instruction.
This preparation is designed to dissolve and be absorbed slowly in intense, in order to lighten possible stomach disorder. Swallow down the medicine without cracking, crunching or grinding unless otherwise instructed. Do not take on an empty stomach.
When you find you missed taking this drug, take a dose as soon as possible. However, do not take the dose if it is close to your next dosing time, and take a dose at the next dosing time. Never take two doses at one time.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you take an overdose.
Do not discontinue this drug at your discretion without your doctor’s instruction.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
You have experienced allergic symptoms such as itching and rash caused by drugs. You have gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, bleeding tendency, blood abnormality, asthma or history of asthma; or are planning to have a surgery or dental extraction.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: gastrointestinal disorders, hives, rash, edema, dizziness, headache, agitation, hyperventilation, malaise, and anemia, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
Facial pallor/cold sweat, dizziness, or breathing difficulty [shock, or anaphylactoid symptoms]
Headache/nausea/vomiting, vomiting of coffee-colored substance, or black stools [bleeding in the brain, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, and etc.]
Skin or mucosal sores, blister, or fever [mucocutaneous and eye symptoms, or toxic epidermal necrosis, or exfoliative dermatitis]
Breathlessness, wheezing breath, or short gasp [asthma attack]
General malaise, anorexia, yellow coloration of skin or white of the eye [hepatic dysfunction, or jaundice]
The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
