      This medicine makes urinating easier by blocking alpha-1 receptors and decreasing the tension in the prostate and urethra.
      It is usually used to treat urinary dysfunction associated with prostatic hyperplasia.
  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine makes urinating easier by blocking alpha-1 receptors and decreasing the tension in the prostate and urethra.

  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, start with 25 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day after meal. If its effect is insufficient, the dosage may be gradually increased to 50 to 75 mg at a time, once a day after meal, at an interval of 1 to 2 weeks. The dosage may be adjusted according to your symptoms. However, the maximum daily dose is 75 mg. This medicine contains 25 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      Precautions while taking this medicine
      This medicine may cause dizziness or dizziness on standing up. Pay attention when performing dangerous operations such as working at heights or driving a car.
      Intraoperative floppy iris syndrome reportedly occurs during ophthalmic surgery, such as for cataract. If ophthalmic surgery is scheduled, make sure to tell your eye doctor that you are taking this medicine or have taken this medicine before.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include dizziness/light-headed feeling, dizziness on standing up, hypotension (including orthostatic hypotension), stomach discomfort, rash, itch, hives and erythema multiforme (circular or oval red rash). If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      - general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of skin and the whites of the eyes [hepatic function disorder, jaundice]
      - faint, loss of consciousness [syncope, unconsciousness]
