  • Description
      This medicine neutralizes stomach acid and prevents gastric wall or duodenum from autolysis. It also promotes defecation by enhancing action of the large intestine and prevents partial urinary calculi (calculi of whewellite) from forming.
      It is usually used for antacid and to improve symptoms in gastroduodenal ulcer, gastritis and upper gastrointestinal tract dysfunction, treat constipation and prevent calcium oxalate lithogenesis in urinary tract.
  • Effect/Efficacy

      It is usually used for antacid and to improve symptoms in gastroduodenal ulcer, gastritis and upper gastrointestinal tract dysfunction, treat constipation and prevent calcium oxalate lithogenesis in urinary tract.
  • Usage/Dosage
      Acid-reducing therapy of gastroduodenal ulcer, gastritis etc: In general, for adults, take 0.5 to 1.0 g a day, in several divided doses.
      Constipation : In general, for adults, take 2 g a day, in 3 divided doses before or after meals, or once before bedtime.
      Prevention of urinary calculi : In general, take 0.2 to 0.6 g a day with a large amount of water.The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age and symptoms of patient in any case.
      Strictly follow the instructions.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should not take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      Avoid taking this medicine with a large amount of milk and calcium preparation (including health food) as much as possible because it may cause adverse effects such as hypercalcemia.
      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include diarrhea, serum magnesium level rising (nausea / vomit, dry mouth, bradycardia etc). If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
