      This medicine exerts calcium antagonistic action on vascular smooth muscle to dilate blood vessels, and blocks the vasoconstrictive effects of angiotensin II produced in the body to lower blood pressure. It also exerts calcium antagonistic action on sympathetic nerve to control heart beat and blood pressure increase under stress.

  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 1 tablet at a time, once a day after breakfast. Strictly follow the instructions.
      Sudden withdrawal of this medicine may worsen your condition.
      If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed a dose. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you are a patient with diabetes mellitus, liver dysfunction, renal disorder, hyperkalemia or schedule of surgery.
      If you are a patient on dialysis or low-salt diet.
      If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      You may feel dizziness etc., caused by decreased blood pressure. Pay attention when working at heights or operating dangerous machinery such as driving a car.
      An ingredient in grape fruit juice may intensify this medicine's effect. Do not drink it as much as possible while taking this medicine.
      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, redness, itch, photosensitivity, headache, facial flushing, palpitation, decreased blood pressure, constipation, abdominal discomfort, heartburn, stiff shoulder and frequent urination. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      swelling of face/lips/throat/tongue, breathlessness [angioedema]
      loss of appetite, generalized fatigability, yellowing of the skin and the white of eyes [hepatitis, liver dysfunction, jaundice]
      decrease of urine output, edema of limbs, loss of appetite [renal failure]
      muscle weakness, numbness of limbs/lips, paralysis of limbs [hyperkalemia]
      loss of consciousness, vomiting, cold feeling [shock, faint, unconsciousness]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
