Japan Post has announced that the name of its international Small Packet Airmail service will be changed
from “International ePacket Light” to “International AIR Packet”*, effective from June 1, 2026.
*“AIR” stands for “Acceptance Identification Recorded”.

While the shipping fee will remain unchanged,
the service coverage will be expanded to all countries and regions where Japan Post provides airmail services currently.
The list of available destination countries on our website will also be updated accordingly in due course.
